Discover Château-Gontier aboard the ‘Castrogontérien‘ tourist train: from half-timbered houses to elegant mansions, from the Church of Saint John the Baptist to the gardens, the town will hold no more secrets for you!

| 9.30 a.m. | Meet in front of the ‘Duc des Chauvières‘ boat, Quai d’Alsace, in Château-Gontier (53200) for a guided tour of the town of Château-Gontier on a tourist train. |
| 11.00 a.m. | (OPTIONAL): Visit to the ‘Medieval Garden of the Spring‘, Rue d’Alsace-Lorraine, in Château-Gontier (40 meters from the ‘Duc des Chauvières‘ boat). |
| 12.00 p.m. | Meet at Restaurant ‘Le 2M‘, 2 Avenue Maréchal Joffre, in CHATEAU-GONTIER (53200) for a convivial lunch. |
| 2.30 p.m. | (OPTIONAL): Visit the ‘Gontierama 2026‘ exhibition (walking tour of the town – map provided). |
| 3.30 p.m. | Meet in front of the ‘Duc des Chauvières‘ boat, Quai d’Alsace, in CHATEAU-GONTIER (53200) for a narrated boat cruise on the Mayenne River.* Cruise duration: 1 hour 30 minutes (Departure: 4.00 p.m. – Return: 5.30 p.m.) |
* Departing from Château-Gontier, the captain and crew of the ‘Duc Des Chauvières’ tour boat will take you on a journey along the Mayenne River. During this scenic cruise, the captain will provide live commentary on the river, its monuments, wildlife, flora, and how a lock works.
