Following the success of our January event “Sausage & Mash and Games afternoon”, EuroMayenne is delighted to announce, following requests, a similar event during the summer.
We start the afternoon with a typical English workers lunch. A basic Ploughman’s lunch consists of a selection of cold meats, cheeses and pickles. The “Ploughman’s Lunch” has a couple of suggestions as to it’s origins. The first refers to medieval times and the type of lunch a farm worker would take out to the fields with them. The Ploughman’s Lunch provided a good source protein and fats. The other suggestion dates more recently to 1950’s when the English Cheese Bureau wanted to increase sales.
After lunch a selection of wooden games are available for your enjoyment.

There is ample parking but car-sharing is highly recommended.
