Treasure Hunt & lunch
on Sunday 8 July 2018
For the last outing of the 2017-2018 year :
A Car Treasure Hunt
followed by Sunday lunch at a lovely restaurant.
What
Collect your route plan, clues and questions; and sort out your car sharing if applicable.
Drive for about 45km, stopping at 3 places, with departures staggered to prevent bunching.
Actual driving time about 50 minutes, but with the searching expect about an hour-and-a-half to two hours total.
End up at a restaurant for a convivial meal.
It is NOT a race, but the chance to admire the countryside and explore some pretty villages… and exercise your brain!
No need to bring a map.
There will be a rescue service in case anyone gets lost, so useful to have a mobile phone.
…. and if you have a set of pétanques balls they might be useful to have with you too.
Car sharing
The number of cars is being limited (so as not to disturb village life on a Sunday morning!)
Car sharing is therefore strongly encouraged, and the booking form explains how this will work. [See below under “Booking”]
The restaurant is not far from the starting point so no problem to retrieve your car if you leave it at the start point.

10h00 – 10h45 check in at Le Bas Rocher, St Jean sur Mayenne (home of Liz & Chris Mallinson, mid-way between St Jean sur Mayenne and Montflours on the D250, shown on the map below as L’Âme)

Cost
The Treasure Hunt itself is free.
For the lunch, comprising starter, main, dessert and drinks the cost is
- €10/person for members of EuroMayenne
- €32/person for their non-member guests.
There is also a child’s menu:

Children under 14 – free of charge if registered within a “Family Membership”
- Children under 14 – €10 if not registered within a “Family Membership”
