Volunteer Assistance Network

We are a network of 20 or so people who are here to help you in times of crisis with the practical business of day-to-day life.

Some examples:

  • if one of a couple is ill and the healthy partner cannot drive – who will take them on hospital visits?
  • your one and only car breaks down and you live in the country – who will take you shopping till it's repaired?
  • a broken limb means you cannot work in the garden for a few weeks – who will mow the lawn for you?

So, this is short term practical help from volunteers who can rally round for you in your hour of need.

Don't be shy about asking for help!

And if you would like to join our team of helpers, do please get in touch. Thank you.
