An evening of Belote
You might have noticed signs in your village sometimes, advertising a Belote* competition?
Well, now is your chance to find out how easy it is to play and what fun it can be.
And if you already play, please come and help the beginners.
* "Belote is a 32-card trick-taking game played in France, and is one of the most popular card games in that country."[Wikipedia]
Friday 10 February 2017 starting at 7:30.

Belote is a card game for four players.
We shall set up tables of 4, each having one experienced player and three who have come to learn. The evening will start with an explanation of how to play.
Half way through we shall break for supper (Kentucky Fried Chicken. Yup, finger lickin' good KFC!)
€5 per person to cover the cost of food and drink.
