Bilingual Medical Emergency Guide

Français

EuroMayenne is proud to present its bilingual French-English medical emergency guide.

This is a useful and socially-beneficial initiative undertaken by EuroMayenne.

Based on some initial work carried out by the Angoulême Central Hospital and SAMU 16, and with their agreement, the EuroMayenne Association has published its own guide entitled When you have a medical emergency.

The guide has been publish by EuroMayenne in association with SAMU 53, Laval Central Hospital, The Mayenne Medical Association and The Mayenne Departmental Council.

Key benefits of the guide:

It quickly provides key phrases to be used in a medical emergency involving English-speaking patients and French-speaking healthcare professionals;

● It provides a better description of symptoms for use by English-speaking patients;

● It enables faster and more efficient care to be provided by French healthcare professionals.

Contents of the guide:

The guide is divided into thematic sections, each dealing with a different type of medical emergency.

● Each key phrase is numbered, thus removing the need for a phrase to be pronounced entirely in French.

● The guide is an essential tool for use in any medical emergency situation.

In conclusion:

● It will be provided to English speakers living in or visiting the Mayenne.

● It will also be made available to healthcare professionals across the department.

● Please feel free to share this guide with others, be they medical professionals or simply friends!
