*******************************************************

… for members who heart rambling

We usually number about 20, with a mix of English and French and we go on a country walk along footpaths and minor roads at an easy pace. You are welcome to bring your dog along too!

We meet at about 09:50 and set off at 10 o’clock promptly.

We walk for 6-8 km, ending back at the start point about midday. Then we often have lunch in a modest restaurant – the type which offers an €11 menu for three courses including wine. If you do stay for the meal you will find it most convivial; if your partner couldn’t do the walk, then – space in the restaurant permitting – they will be most welcome to join us for the lunch.

All the walks are within the Mayenne department and take place once a month on a Wednesday.

Check the date in the calendar in the  Information section.

Details of where to meet are given for each walk, but normally it is by the village church.

We walk whatever the weather!

The only cost is the meal if you decide to add that to your exercise, payable direct to the restaurant at the time.

Wear suitable clothing; walking boots are useful as the footpaths can often be very muddy.
