Blockbuster Western!
The 13th Euromayenne Fair took place on Sunday, 4th November. The theme this year was the "Wild West" and helpers and stallholders, as always, presented themselves on the day in a fascinating array of fancy dress - Cowboys, Red Indians, various Sheriffs, Preachers and Outlaws
All records smashed!
Nearly 4,000 people came through the doors, raffle ticket takings were well up on previous years, and the Tea Room did a roaring trade all day long.
There were nearly 90 stalls, offering a wide range of goods, artifacts and foodstuffs.
Entertainment
From the central stage, people were richly entertained.
Carol(vocalist) & Richard(guitar) King performed a number of songs with a Country & Western flavour.
The Country Dancers Boot 53 troupe gave a demonstration of Line Dancing, inviting the audience to join in at all times.
Crowds of people packed around the stage to enjoy these sessions.
Un Western à grand succès !
La treizième Foire Euromayenne a eu lieu le dimanche 4 novembre. Cette année le thème était le "Far West" et, comme toujours, tous les bénévoles et les exposants se sont présentés exceptionnellement déguisés en cowboy, en Indien, en shérif, en pasteur ou en hors-la-loi !
Tous records battus !
Presque 4000 personnes sont passées par l'entrée, le vente de billets de tombola était bien en hausse et le TeaRoom a eu un succès fou pendant toute la journée.
Il y avait près de 90 stands qui proposaient une grande variété de marchandises, d'objets et d'aliments.
Divertissements
Sur la scène centrale, Carol (chanteuse) et Richard (guitariste) King ont largement diverti les gens avec des chansons Country & Western.
La troupe Country Dancers Boots 53 a fait une démonstration de Line Dancing (danse de style country) en encourageant le public à chaque instant à y participer.
La foule grouillante s'amassait autour de la scène à chaque séance.
