December 2014 – Christmas Carols
This was the 14th Annual favourite of
HERMAN’S CHRISTMAS CAROLS
held on Friday 12 December 2014.
There were 55 festive folk packed into the Château du Bourg in ST DENIS DE GASTINES and it was heartening to see 15 French enjoying this typically British tradition.
Mulled wine and a mince pie on arrival, then all joined in to sing English and French carols, with a bring and share buffet during the interval.
A big thank you to Lynn Chesters and her helpers for organising the event, and as always a special thank you to Herman Annis, without whose consummate musicianship accompanying us on the keyboard the evening would not be half so much fun.
